Application
- For garden beds: Before planting, spread a 1 to 2-inch layer of the ground pellets over the soil and work it into the top 4 to 6 inches with a rake or tiller.
- For existing plants: As a slow-release top dressing, sprinkle the ground fertilizer around the base of the plants, avoiding direct contact with the stem. Water the area well to help the nutrients seep into the soil.
- For container plants: Mix the fertilizer with potting soil at a ratio of about 1 part manure to 3 parts soil to provide a gentle nutrient boost.
- For transplants: Place a handful of the ground pellets at the bottom of the planting hole before placing the new plant inside.

- 5 parts water (e.g., 1 gallon of manure to 5 gallons of water)
- Instructions:
Place the ground manure in a mesh bag, porous cloth, or directly into a 5-gallon bucket.
Fill the bucket with water, and place a lid on it. You can speed up the process by putting the bucket in a warm, sunny spot.
Let the mixture steep for 3 to 7 days, stirring daily.
Strain the liquid and apply it directly to the base of your plants with a watering can.
You can use the remaining solids as a soil amendment in your garden or compost pile.
